METZ CONNECT is a medium-sized, family-run German company that manufactures high quality copper and fiber optic components and automated infrastructure management for structured network cabling.
The first part of the name, METZ, comes from the family business and employer standing for consistency, confidence and fairness, while CONNECT represents the company’s core competence which consists in creating perfect connections.
In 2021, the fiber optic cable assemblies were launched and are produced at the main plant in Blumberg, ensuring the highest quality standards. All cable assemblies are 100% tested for insertion loss and return loss over 2 wavelengths (SM: 1310 and 1550 nm, MM: 850 and 1300 nm).
In addition to the headquarters of METZ CONNECT in Blumberg, with 650 employees, the group has production and sales locations in Hungary, France, Austria, the USA and China and cooperates with sales partners in over 26 countries.
Corporate Responsibility
METZ CONNECT and its subsidiaries are committed to their social responsibility as part of their company activities worldwide. Based on the draft by the ZVEI – Confederation of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry – a Code of Conduct on social responsibility has been developed.
The Code of Conduct includes guidelines regarding working conditions, social and environmental compatibility as well as transparency, trustworthy cooperation and dialogue.
Th German company corporate responsibility include product and market responsibility, quality responsibility, environmental responsibly and responsibility for the employees.

METZ is a company certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 which guarantees the high reliability of the company processes.
In what comes to the development, production and packaging process of METZ, environmentally friendly materials are used so that afterwards they can be recycled without problems. Their products also comply with RoHS since October 2005.
